....on it's way to Enr1co's house!:D

Dunno how, dunno why....but there she was just sitting at the door today.
So, being the generous guy I am, I invited her in, and offered her something to eat and drink. After resting for a spell, she asks if there are any amps she could sing with, and I introduced her to Mr. Marshall. They've bonded and are now inseparable.

Screaming, throaty mids, and grinding punch. Throw the switch to the M1 and there's a singing "woman-like" tone from the neck. The middle M provides a serious T-like "squawk". All of these tones in a single cut?:D :p For anyone who hasn't picked up an ATOM, do yourself a favor. It'll be like no Anderson you've played before. For those that have, I'm now in on your "little" secret!!

...oh and that popcorn quilt top ain't bad either!;)

You're right, Atom players have a little secret that must be discovered by the others.
Beautiful top, bro. Congrats!!

:D :D I think one of Santa's reindeers hit me in the head!!:p (....there's a new member on the reindeer team, his name's Shredder. He hangs on the same side as Blitzen)

The pigtail makes bending notes sooooooo easy. I have never had an experience with a wrap around like I have with this beauty. (I think the Sweet and Sour DT is gonna have take a long needed "time out"!);)

Shaun your dark cherry burst is what kicked me over the edge. Your top's every bit as sweet! and the tone.....gosh, incredible. It takes the best of the Cobra grunt and adds a little strat in for good measure, but allows you to jump back and forth.

I assure you, I am just fine. Funny, with the Atom, I am finding I natually hold on to notes and finesse them more..so I don't miss the Floyd, besides, my trust Classic always had a pretty forgiving trem as long as I don't do any dead string dive bombs. The Atom hangs differently ( I wear it higher than the classic) and despite its mahogany composition, feels almost hollow comapred to to my ash classic. Its like it was made for my body frame?!

Michael, glad we're mates! Both of us made an excellent choice. I had Honey Burst on my first TA, so yours takes me back too. Glad I was able to inspire someone:rolleyes: I couldn't have described the tone any better. Mine is spanky with a mid honk that cuts through the mix. My whole approach has changed...Congrats!

Nice!

So, if you want to do a dive bomb, you just grab the headstock and pull forward, right!? :D

tooo funny! I have to admit that it was an impressive guitar from the start....and it was only a matter of time before I'd succumb to the pressure:cool: :D
Enrico, thanks for digging through the archives!

Thanks to Jack and Stan for the awesome archive functionality of this site!

Amazing to think that pic was two years ago- how time flies!

That was very cool to see the unveiling of the Atom that year at namm 05.

thanks Dave, yeah she's getting waaay too much attention right now. Yesterday the choice was fight the crowds at the mall or watch the kids and my their cousins. I chose the later since I knew I'd be able to sneak in a half hour (or so) of guitar time!!;)

James, I'm embarassed actually....but it's really a matter of pursuing what I knew I'd eventually be getting anyway (every since I played one at the 2005 show)! BTW, how's the dripcaster doin'? Any orders for you on the horizon?:p

Barry, take it from all of us....you won't be disappointed! I'm sure Mr. A will have at least 1 Atom there, given that it certainly seems to be newest "favorite" See you in January!!:p
