Changing from TD to TV

Is there any wiring difference between the TD and TV pickups for the TD-split positions compared to the equivalent TV positions? Does the vintage voicing only take effect for the 2nd and 4th positions on the 5-way with TDs?

4 and 5 would be the same since there is no second coil. vv is engaged all the time so you would not have to change anything there.

td's are stacks, so they can humcancel. tv's are single coils, so as such they hum. the tv's are fuller in the middle, the sd's have higher highs and lower lows. i'd say it's totally a person preference, not model specific. the tv's are so juicy fat that they are my personal choice.
