I'm new to the forum and have been waiting patiently for the registration to open back up again since I got my first Anderson a couple of months ago. I can honestly say it is one of the finest guitars I've ever owned. So much so that I am trying to get another one ASAP. The guitars I play in my band and in the studio just don't cut it compared to my Anderson.
Anyways, just wanted to say hi. You may or may not know me from The Gear Page or Birds And Moons. I go by my full name there: Mike Dresch.
Thanks!
Mike

Hey Mike! I think we may have talked before over on the GearPage. My user ID there is "eddyrox". Anyway welcome aboard!:D
mike.
PS- you don't happen to know anyone named Eldon Fisher?:D We corresponded on a sale of a Bora Bora Suhr Standard. How are they doing? Are they still a "couple"?;)

Hey Mike! I sure do know Eldon. I directed him to you to buy your Suhr Standard. I've had more than a few opportunities to strum that beauty as I do all of Eldon's setup and repair work for him. Great guitar! They most certainly are a couple. I don't think Eldon will ever part with it. In fact, here is a picture of Eldon putting on his best rock face playing it a recent gig:

Gee, now that I think about it, you don't have anymore beauties like that you'd like to part with do you? :D

Why do all your guitars look the same (quilt top in 80's colors, floyd rose hardware, one piece maple neck, 2 hums)? Diversity is a good thing you know! :D ;) :p

Ha ha! I guess I'm guilty of that too, except my Andy doesn't have a Floyd. But I'd sure like an Andy that had a Floyd on it!

Mike, that Cajun Red DT Anderson wouldn't happen to be serial# 05-28-04O, would it? If so, guess where the "O" comes from?!?!:D

Very close, mine is 05-24-04O.

If so, small world huh? :D

THAT IS the same guitar. Tom scratched in 5-24 on the plate, but the registation reads 5-28, which is my Wedding Anniversary date. The "O" is for Omiya:D
Anyway, did you get that from Mike Onnofrietti in Hawaii?

Go for it. She probably wouldn't notice the 25 cent plastic wedding band that you got as a prize from Dave and Busters.

Yes, I did. Small, small world. I wonder if I can talk him out of his green drop top :D
So is that why it reads 10th anniversary on it?

Affirmative - a gift to myself (that the wife had approved).
