Is the 5-way tele switch a different switch than the one in the atom or a classic? It feels mushier (like a tele 3-way) to me. . . am I losing my mind?
same switch. in the middle 90's we had a different brand that was less tacktle.

Cool. . I have lost my mind. :) Maybe the angle or the switchtip is messing me up. I'll get used to it whatever it is. :)

Gary, do you have a kickback switch?
No, what does it do?

I read that this is now standard on all Atoms, so I'd like to try it on mine.
Tom, have a schematic or description handy?

Is it typically a push/pull knob sort of thing? Is it strictly for M's, or other pickups too?
it requires a little black box made for us by a mad scientist named villex. it cuts output and middle a bit. it's a very involved wiring, but is all passive. it works well with all the m's, HO's, and most bridge position humbuckers. we have not got it dialed in for neck position h series. as for now we're not selling them separately.

....I'm going to crawl back under the rock from whence I came.....apologies for even bringing this up in the first place.....:o :(
not a problem. it's new, but not secret. we were hoping to develope it over a wider rane of pickups, but with the current changes it has taken a back burner.
