I believe the TA Standard neck shape these days is a slighlty larger than it used to be.
What were the specs for a "TA Standard" neck shape in 1994 for 1 & 11/16ths width?
Bruce figured this out for me once but I can't find my notes on it. For some reason I recall specs of .810 tapering up to .870. But I can't recall if that was the old TA Standard or the new one. And about when was the switch made (should I want to locate a used one)? I saw a dealer on-line had an Anderson with the neck specs saying, "Old TA Standard -.20".
I ask because I have an Anderson Classic and I'd be in big trouble without it. I have several guitars (and Bruce has made all of them play great) but my Anderson is the only one that plays effortlessly, sounds in tune, stays in tune--but most importantly, doesn't give me tennis elbow after three 1 hour sets. My elbow seems to be able to detect even the slightest difference in neck shape/size and complains about it.
