I know this gets brought up from time to time. In fact, I've brought it up before, so I'm automatically guilty of reposting. ;)

Has anyone tried/played/owned both the '62 Roundback profile and the TA Std. +.050" profile? I'm familiar with the '62 Roundback, and the TA Std., and a bit with the TA Std. +.030". I've also read the specs and TAG descriptions of them all, but since I can't go try out the +.050 I'd like to hear from anyone that actually has.

Any takers? :)

TIA,
-Dave

I felt that the 0.050 over han an even taper while the 62 roundback really changes from the 1st to the 12th fret. Don't know if this well help but it is my input. I have always preferred the standard neck shape. I think it is the greatest in the world.

Yep, at least that what the numbers show. ;)
I know that the 62RB has about twice the amount of taper (.120") compared to the Standard (including +.030, +.050, +.070, +.100) profile(s).

My biggest "problem" (if I should call it that) is I wish I could feel the Standard +.050" or + .070" in my hand. I must sound like the Imelda Marcos of neck shapes, eh? :D

taclassic, do you have the + .050?
