Been using the original since I got into the Andersons...
Can you offer some comparisons on the Poly and the Nano?

I believe that the Poly's have a thicker coating than the nano's. The sound of the nano's are a bit brighter due to the thinner coating.

Nanos feel much better to me...like a non-coated string. Polys tend to last longer, but the trade off for feel is worth it for me on the Nanos...and they still last ridiculously long.
poly's are duller sounding and have less finger noise(more of an issue on acoustic than electric).unless you're really after a darker duller sound, i'd use the nano's...oh yeah, i do use nanos.

in the past, I've used poly's on my strat to tame the brightness and nano's on my Cobra Special to make it brighter. It might be psychosomatic, but I feel like it helps me split the difference and use the same settings on one amp and be able to switch guitars in the middle of a gig.
