Hi,
I would love to have all my pedals in a rack and switched with my GCX, But when i do this i hear such a diffrence in my tone.
Anybody else have problems with there GCX.

I have no experience with the GCX, but from what I've heard, the buffer isn't too good. You could try turning the buffer off (if there is an option for that) and if you need a buffer, use an Axess BS2 instead. If none of that works, the newer Axess GRX4's have the same buffer as the BS2. I use 2 GRX4's and they are outstanding.
Hi Gary,
Thanks for the reply.
I never use the GCX buffer. Always the Axcess. Still sounds diffrent than pluging it into my board.:(

I have a GCX that I used to loop pedals, and I didn't like the buffer. Still sounds good without the buffer I think... You probably know this, but good patch cables are important for the GCX application. I use George L's. Now I place all my pedals in a pedalboard, but I have the GCX laying around for bigger setups that require programmed presets.

i used to use the ground control pedal (newer one) with a rocktron patchmate, it had true bypass. I used in in conjunction with a system mix plus to run my verb and delays in parallel. Never had any issues with it changing the tone. they are old, and can probably be found on ebay from time to time.
