65 blackface bandmaster

Anyone got any opinions on this amp? I have a chance to p/up one for 8.5 bills - 8/10 condition - all original.

Great classic rock & blues amp. Volume on 10, treble on 10, bass on zero and it's AC/DC crunch all night long. Much thicker clean tone than most blackface 'reverb' amps. That price is a little high, IMO. I'd look for one around $600 in that condition. They can be found for less if you look.

Gracias. I ended up passing on it. I really like a rectifier tube in the circuit.

Late to the party, if anyone else is curious.

+1 on killerburst's take. In addition, it is a great amp behind pedals. Paid $385 on E-bay 18 months ago, needed to be re-tubed - was decent cosmetically (torn grill, rusty chrome parts).
