Was just surfing on the Makin Music web site and they list a Classic with "the brand new VA5 pickups." Couldn't find anything on the site or through a search on the forum. So...what's the scoop?

i'm guessing you'll be reading about it and the new va booster that was designed with it real soon. we have been busy in the pickup/electronics dept lately and i'm having a blast with the new kickback switch as well. more to come.

oh no, we wouldn't do that. we are already taking orders for the kick back, and i'm sure roy will let you allin on it very soon.

i have told roy you all are asking, so we will try to speed things up. it's something i have been using for a few months, and the kickback will be standard on all atoms, and an option on cobras and others with m's and fullsize humbuckers.

What is scoop on the Kick Back?I got my Atom in July and would like more info please.It it something I would be able to get from you guys and install myself?Clue me in.Thanks.

Yeah - I've been thinking about asking too. It would all make sense if this was something yet to be realeased, but from what I undertand they're out in the market. I've also noticed a few other "new" things that I don't see on the web site..like the "happy medium" neck carve.
