A friend is looking for an amplifier that will double as an acoustic amp as well as electric guitar amp.......is there such a beast?

Rivera Sedona is very nice and tube based as well. I've lately been using a Fender Jazzmaster Ultralight and it's surprisingly nice with my acoustic mandolin piezo pickup. It's a wonderful electric amp too.

Rivera Sedona is a good choice ..very heavy tough ....and you can not use it for both applications at the same time

How about a clarus 1r,i use one for my archtop and acoustic it has,a low input for magnetic pickups and a high one for piezo's,small compact and 200watts into 2ohms,not for overdriven sounds but if you use a pod or similar modelling unit that might work.
cheers West.

Ive a SWR California Blonde made for acoustics but also works well when noodling around with a squire P-bass. For use with electric guitar, I havent been able to get it dialed in to sound very good... but it could just be my playing
