TV Yellow?

I really like that TV Yellow Cobra Special that is the current GOTW. Is TV Yellow actually a different color than Trans Butterscotch or is it just the wood?

I kinda think it's a different color. Sure looks cool though. I see a "sister" getting built for my P90 S Special:D :D :D

Yea I like that alot too, classy looking, something about TV yellow and black P-90 type pickups, they just go together.
Would look nice on an Atom special too!

A TV yellow Atom special with P-90s would look pretty cool.

Tom, have you built any atoms with P90's?

Back to the thread- IMHO, the butterscotch definitely looks to have
more of a brownish tint while the TV yellow is further in the yellow spectrum.

the color is similar. the photo doesn't really show the mahogany grain as much as in person.
haven't done p90's on an atom because of the neck angle and the poor adjusting character of the way p90's mount.

I have the same guitar except reversed out- black Cobra Special with cream colored P-90 covers and pickguard. The cool thing is, it has a matching headstock and back of the neck and the fret dots are creme-colored too, so the guitar is just a knockout beauty.

I can say this, though: for as purty as that TV Yellow LOOKS, I can tell you that it sounds just as vibey and mojo-filled and beautiful and vintage-y and all the other adjectives we attach to foxy guitars.
