Hey guys, I just purchased a used anderson clasic, and did my first gig with it last night. Since I got it yesterday, I was woried about trying to play it out so soon, but it felt so good in my hands, I couldn't help it. As it was, I took my strat and tele, but touched neither the whole night. I love this guitar, and I loveall the sounds I can get out of it. I play mostly clean, and it just sparkles, even through my boogie mark I which is a dark amp. Even my vocalist commented on how good it sounded, and she doesn't even notice when I bring in a new amp.
Thanks tom!

Hi Kurt,

Welcome to the forum and glad you are like the Classic-Way to
break it in! The 62' roundback neck on that one really feels good.
Hope it brings years of enjoyment!

Hi Kurt. GREAT to hear that your gig went so well. I fell in love with my first Andy the minute I tried it for the first time....and I haven't looked back. I just purchased my second, and am just as thrilled with that one!

Now, a photo of yours would be nice. :)

Welcome and congrats!

Thanks guys, working on pics, but I appreciate the support. I actually did have a question, and I hate bothering the folks at anderson on this. I'm getting some fret buzz, mainly on the G and D strings, and I'm unable to ix it. I use pretty high action, and I just had the neck checked by a local tech who made sure it was straight. Anyone have any tips?
Thanks again, you guys rock.

as i said in my email to you.
without seeing it i can only guess. because it is mostly G and D strings, i'd first look at pickup height. alnico magneted pickups can greatly effect string vibration if they are too close. you will also notice that if you play the A string above the 8th fret that you get a wolf tone, like it can't quite decide which note to play. a quick test would be to lower the neck and middle pickups down quite a bit. since it has stainless frets, i would not expect any wear, but if someone has done fretwork that's a possibility. let me know if that changes anything. past that, i'd have to see it to help. nut, neck adjustment saddle adjustment and frets are all in the mix.
