It’s been a year now, and I just played my 100th gig with this rig and could not be more happy/content.

Background:
I work as a sideman in the CCM/Christian Pop/Worship Community. Typical venues are large churches and theaters - 1,200 to 3,500 people. I need to cover a wide variety of modern rock and pop tones.

The amps:
(2) Egnater MOD50 amplifiers - one has 6L6, the other has EL34
(2) Egnater oversize 112 cabs - front slot port with Celestion CL80 speaker (sometimes I'll use a V30 in one cab)

The pedalboard:
Analogman Comprossor, Boss Overdrive, Arion Chorus, Line 6 MM4 (proto with Way Huge mod), Volume Pedal (guitar), Volume Pedal (echo return), Line 6 Echo Park (in parallel loop of amps), Pedal Power II, Korg Tuner, Taylor A/B/Both box.

you need a place to host your pics, such as, photobucket.com. it's free. then you use the insert image feature from edit post screen. and waaaaalaaaaaa.

ToneLounge - I couldn't figure that out either, but found this post by Suriel which helped. Once you submitted your post, go and edit the post and copy the image into the post. There will be several links, one of which is the image. Be careful of the size, not that it won't copy, but it will be way too big.

By the way, nice clean set up.

Barry - I made the pedalboard myself. Home Depot/Lowes had everything: wood, alum. channel, handles and feet - probably $30 total. I used mogami and switchcraft to wire up the board.

Sorry - internet photo newbie. Can anybody help make the pix appear in the post?

Thanks,
B

Stick IMG in square brackets in front of the link and /IMG in square brackets after the link. Then, you get this:

Note: The link has to end in .jpg for the images to show up. I had to trim off the ?v=0.

Nice rig! Especially the homemade pedalboard!

I'm using the same rig except mine's a 1x12 combo and I just switched from 6L6 to EL34. I, of course, don't have a year under my belt with it, but I've had other amps come and go while I kept playing and gigging with this. Funny, I actually sold my Bad Cat AT A GIG on Tuesday. He forked over the cash before our hit, where I was playing a Cobra Special into the Egnater. I talked to the buyer the next day, and he'd already been on the Egnater site pricing combos and modules.

Also, when I did the session at El Dorado in Burbank two weeks ago, they took notes on my amp so they could get one for the studio. MOD50 combo on top of the closed back, oversized 1x12 cab with V30. Royer on the top, 57 on the bottom. (Here's (http://www.dognmoon.com/anderson/wakeus.mp3) a VEEEEERRRRRRYYYY rough board mix of one of the tracks- it's hard to hear the guitars under all the B3 and piano... The project goes to mix on Monday. ****It's an 8mb mp3.)

Checked out the clips; they sound promising. It would be nice to have two amps in one combo at a gig. And if it records well...

Which Royer is that?

Promising? If that was a rough mix, I'll eat my hat. I've heard final cuts that didn't even come close to sounding as good as that did.

BTW those Egnators sound truly awesome.

More tasty vittles for your Egnater listening pleasure.

1st mix mp3, emailed yesterday. The song is called "What It Is". (http://www.dognmoon.com/whatitis.mp3)

*warning: "some disco will be gave..." *

Surfy guitar is a Gretsch/ bigsby thing, Bassman module ("B-man") on the MOD50
Slide guitar in the breakdown is the Gretsch into the A-channel of the modded Super Lead module of the MOD50.
Chorus single-note riff is a Cobra Special through a Proctavia into the modded Super Lead module (SL2+) of the MOD50
Outro solo is a HTC through a Budda Wah into the Modded Super Lead module again.

a very special thanks to Brian S., owner/curator of the Tonelounge Gear Library: Unobtanium Collection. The Gretsch, HTC, and Proctavia were generously provided, among other gear.
