Rosewood Neck

What would be the difference in tone between a solid rosewood neck and a mahogany neck on a hollow Atom?
Never played a guitar with one, understand they have a very nice feel to them.
Are they heavier? Does a hollow Atom with a solid rosewood neck still balance if they are heavier?

I have a Hollow Atom with the mahogany neck and another mahogany semi-hollow custom with a solid rosewood neck. The rosewood necked guitar seems much darker sounding than the Atom. The instruments have different pickups of course, so it's not exactly apples to apples.

rosewood is definitely heavier, but i have not seen a balance problem on atoms. to me the rosewood sounds like more fundamental with a faster attack. deeper bass yes. less flexible if you like that solid feel. i kinda like being able to bend the mah neck some.
