....with a +.100 maple neck, 1 11/16 nut width. Alder body preferred, in sunburst, but the neck is the thing - thanks -

Your chances of finding that neck profile are unfortunately very slim. In my 13 years, I think the biggest + size I can remember seeing go through was a TA std. +.070.

You may want to consider finding the perfect guitar (sans neck) and have a new neck built for it.

we do a couple +.100's a year. usually they are 1 5/8" though. that will be a tough one to find.

Thanks you guys - sounds like it might be a long search. Plus anyone who has one would probably tend to keep it, as it would have to be thought out, and ordered that way from the start. Just curious - do you do more large V's? Theres only .010 difference near the nut, and it tapers to the same thickness at or near the octave, according to the specs apon entering the forum. Obviously the profile is different - do people prefer the larger V necks to the more rounded profile of the TA standard, at this large end of things? Maybe the 1 5/8 width and the large V is more user friendly for most people. Cheers,

Peter

Tom,
What about plus size 50's V carves?
My 1990 HTC has a +.030 Large 50's V carve.
.930" 1st fret to 1.00" at the 12th.
I love it.
