Ok, this is not happening on my Anderson. I am actually waiting on my new one. (due Oct/06) My other axe has a lot of spring noise from the trem. so bad that it comes thru the audio. It is the standard Gotoh version of the anderson trem. Do you guys have any suggestions to deal with this?

Do a search bro. Been covered several times by Bruce.

The short answer is foam rubber.

Is the noise happening when you strum the strings, or is it happening when you use the trem?

If it's happening when you strum the strings, then put some foam rubber in between the springs and body, (about a 1/4 inch space).

If it's happening while the trem is being used, try removing a spring (one at a time), and apply some grease, or vasiline where the springs enters the trem block... then install the foam rubber.

In some cases the bridge vibrates in a weird way because it isn't sitting on the body 100%. You can look into that and see... sometimes it just takes a little tweaking of the fulcrum studs.

It is a creaking noise when I use the trem.

A little oil in the spring holes did the trick. Thanx!
