Drop Top with Floyd Rose ?

I have an 2003 DT with a Floyd Rose trem and I am having spring noise problems... Is there fix for this issue?

We've used thin, (about 1/2 inch thick), foam rubber in the past and it seems to hold well. You can wedge it inbetween the springs and the backplate, or better yet, inbetween the springs and the bottom of the cavity there.

I usually just change them out till I find one that doesnt squeek.. seem to have better luck with the dull looking ones, not the chrome ones.. i've read you can use wd40 on them and it helps, havent verified this myself.
