what gives? a new gc opened up here in dayton (finally), needed some strings, went to the grand opening, and all they have are exp's. I wonder if d'addario put some pressure on them or something.

wheres the best place to get elixers online?

This is yet another excuse to not shop at Guitar Center.

This is yet another excuse to not shop at Guitar Center.

And what's worse - the knuckleheads that work there are telling their customers that Elixir has gone out of business.

Two more stores are opening in our area over the next few months, bringing the total to 7.
Want fries with that....I mean a case with that.

A couple of months back, at the one in Monroeville, PA (and the ONLY reason I went there was cause it was Sunday!!!...), they told me that Elixer was pulling them from their stores because they were selling them at $13.00 or something and Elixer demanded they get $20 a set.

So....I waited till Monday, went to my local (Piano's n Stuff) shop and got two sets for $20......

Think if there was a GC that totally kicked butt and a bunch of experts working there. I don't know...maybe there is.
