View Full Version : DIY Iso Cabs--any experience?

I'm thinking of building an isocab for recording. Has anyone here built one or used one for recording? Let me know your thoughts.
i'd be curious on this too. tim pierce was out and said he has a small room built to house his 4x12 cab for recording. he made it sound like it was several times bigger than the cab so there could be enough air to move inside.

I bought an old microroom iso cab years ago and it sounds horrible!! The only thing it's good for is making sound go away.
