And on another Queen/Brian May note, I remember you mentioning at some point that you did a wiring mod to get the most useful series tones like Brian May's guitar. What are you doing there in particular?

Not sure if Brian will respond, but I know the answer. On his DTT and his Atom he runs an HN3 and an H2. On the #3 pickup selector he has the pickups out-of-phase. He had Bryant, the guitar tech at Charley's add a mini switch to select series or parallel. Runs into a Roccaforte HG80 with a Bogner 4x12. Only effects are a rackmounted harmonizer, an overdrive and a phase.

To me, the most Brian Mayish tones that he gets come from pinch harmonics.

All correct except: Pickups are H3+ and H1; no phaser.

As for the V Stack - I have tried it and it's cool, but I get all I need from the guitar, amp and one knob overdrive pedal combination (which I use very rarely).
I believe Tom has the V Stack I tried.
