What is the best and most comfortable guitar strap, custom or otherwise? I'd probably like a plain leather strap (multiple layers are ok), and don't need any custom engraving or monogramming.

Have looked at Moody Leather, Italia Leather Straps, and Double Treble on line but have no idea of quality over time. Have you guys tried any of these? Others?

Thanks

I have a Neotech I like a lot. The center section is padded neoprene and the ends are leather. I bought it to moderate my >9lb G&L and it's overkill now on my Hollow Atom. Feels nice though, and not very expensive.

Check the straps at Long Hollow Leather. They are fairly plain compared to some but made of high quality leather and they will do custom work if you ask. They will last a lifetime, if reasonable care is taken with them.

I have been using 2 1/2 inch leather straps for all of my guitars for 25 years.I find them the most comfortable and the guitar stays put because the strap does not slide against clothing.

Just discovered these (http://www.stephi.ca/en_guitar.htm).

Wasn't strap shopping, but I picked one off the display at a dealer. Seemed very nice. Took it home and called them the next day to order 2 more. Got the GT-304 (http://www.stephi.ca/en_g_proPage.php?Page=19), in tan, cognac and black. I think the wine color would be a nice accessory for my T-Plum DT.
