I have always loved the sound of Filter Tron pickups on a Gretsch hollowbody, but the consistancy and playability have always been an issue. I noticed you did a Classic with lipstick tube pickups a few years back. Would you ever consider installing a set of TV Jones Filter Trons on a Hollow Atom with a Bigsby? If not, which Andy pickups would nail that tone?
we won't do others pickups, especially different shapes. the m loaded hollow atoms with bigsgys always cry gretch to me.

Yes, I believe Brian B did a side-by-side with a hollow Atom with M's and an old Gretsch and found that he could absolutely get that sound (and then some).
(Hopefully my memory is working properly on this. . . you can probably search the forum and find his post about this.)
