Regarding the Cobra S, what are the sonic characteristics of the HO1 and HO2 pickups?

On the TA site, the HO1 is described as a neck pickup to sonically balance with the HO series bridge pickups, but I'm not really sure what that means. The HO2 is described as a thicker and slightly more powerful humbucker tone with vintage output.

What kinds of tones can you squeeze out with these pickups? I think I can guess-timate what the neck and bridge humbucker tones will sound like, but can someone describe the tonal characteristics of the split coil sounds?

From what I understand, positions 2 and 4 on the Cobra's selector are split coil tones, and position 3 with the tone knob pulled splits both pickups. What kinds of single coil tones can I expect? Are any of them Strat-like, and if so, how would these split coil tones match up to a conventional Strat's 5-way selector palette of tones?
