Hi Tom,
I was considering replacing the P 90's in my Hollow Drop Top with your M series pickups. I find the P90's to sound a bit bassy especially in the neck position. I would like more of a single coil sound. Will I get that with the M series? They just don't sound clean enough. Eliot wants me to bring the guitar in so he can check it out. Also will they fit in the exsisting cutouts?
Thanks in advance.

sounds like the m's would be right up your alley. we make some black rings that adapt the m's to the p hole. the ring sits inside the existing hole so no extra holes to drill in the top.

Does anyone have a picture of how the m's look with the pickup rings?

2 different treatments by Ron Thorn

1st one is using the p90 adaptors I think.

The 2nd puts em inside a p90 shell a custom one in this case.

that first one is holes cut for th m's. the second one looks like rings he made. our p90 rings sit down inside the pickuphole.
