I usually set my acoustic's necks with a bit of releif for tone. Is this not necessary with my Crowdy? Can I set it flat for better action and playability and not suffer any tone loss? Anyone try the Elixir Phosphor Bronze an a Crowdster yet?
i like them best with the neck pretty darn straight. hitting any piezo equipped guitar too hard gets it into quacky territory, so i don't think the relief needs to be there.

Thanks Tom! Straight it will be tonight!
How 'bout the Elixir PB's? Anyone try them on a Crowdy yet?
tried them on a different acoustic, no strong opinion yet, it doesn't get played much. my first impression was that i liked the regular ones better, but i can't articulate why.

I put them on a Taylor 814 Cocobolo/Engelman and it sounds wonderful.
