Do all of the guitars post NAMM (say 3/1 or later) have the new neck joint?
guitars scheduled for april delivery have it. we are just starting to ship some. we have about 16 or so old style left to build.

Does that mean that all new Andersons have the neck joint ... even classics & T/Hollow T's?
Can you comment on the tonal differences the new neck joint makes? Is it just more sustain or does it change the tone?
everything except crowdsters. they will get it later in the year. i don't hear so much as feel a difference in the sound. many who have played them have comented how they feel the guitar vibrate. we were more for a more stable joint than looking for a different sound.

I played an unplugged hollow T with the new neck joint the other day. I don't have much experience with hollow Ts, but it was very resonant. I want one. :)

Tom,Where do you date the guitars now there's no neckplate to engrave?

I'm not Tom, but it's on the back of the headstock like on the Atom.
correct as usual jay. we started this method with the crowdster. that was the first model without a neckplate.

I can’t help it, I must jump in here,
Having played many, many, many Andersons with the old-style neck joint, I was sonically satisfied. The additional structural stability was the allure of the new joint.
But, picking up a “new” Anderson just to play a guitar has been another one of those guitar-life-changing events. The A-Wedgie joint is not visible from the front so you don’t even think about it, or maybe even realize you have one at first. You are just playing a great guitar. Quickly you began to notice that the guitar seems even more resonant than before—as if that could even be possible. It just feels as if there is more sound resounding—especially in the low mid—just a touch, just a feeling not something you can really put your finger on—something rumbling beneath you that supports your tone. If that wasn’t enough already you find yourself flying over the upper-most frets with greater ease as the sleek sculpting of the neck joint lures you to play high and stay there for awhile longer. As you look down to see what is going on you can just catch a glimpse of A-Wedgie from the side. It looks so cool and sleek and sweeping—inviting really—reminds me of the lines of a Ferrari. Just one more thing to make guitar playing a better experience. Love it!
It is all fun and I just wanted you to know what it is like.

Hmmm...lines of a Chrysler, perhaps?
As long as it is the new 2006 Dodge Viper SRT.
