Hi,
All the pics I have seen of the Atom do not show the back of the body.Is the back contoured?(I have seen a photo of the back of an Atom today and did not see a contour)If so is it optional?I can see the top is contoured. Is that optional too?I would be grateful for the info as I live over three hours away from an Anderson dealer and have not yet played an Atom.I am concidering ordering an Atom but, would like to know a little more about it's feel.I play two TAG's now,a HTC(no contours) and a Cobra Special(with contours).I have been a Les Paul player for over 20 years and would like to know about the Atom's size and feel compared to a Les Paul(mainly the body). My Cobra has the neck carve(62 rounded)I will order so,I know about the feel of the neck. Thanks in advance.

Good comparison pics,Jay. The Atom doesn't have a belly cut contour like a strat, but it does have a more rounded top edge that eliminates any discomfort against your body. It might not look like much in the pics, but once you've strapped one on you'll realize how much difference it makes.

thanks jay and dave. as to the rear edge. a stock strat has a 3/8" edge radius. our normal bodies have a 1/4" edge radius. th atom has a 1/4" radius that morphs into a 1" radius at the waist on that top edge. i wanted the top edge soft enough to not feel it, but did not want to loose the feel of the body not tipped into me like a strat does.
