I keep trying to Google "acoustic guitar stand" to find the kind of stand that you put an acoustic in, so you can stand up and play it without holding it. It makes it so you can play a part of a song on an acoustic but still get back to the electric parts when necessary ...And I don't have the money for a T5 or the time to install a Powerbridge or order a Crowdster-Plus.

Does anybody know what those stands are "officially" called or know where I could find one?

thanks in advance.

Yo C-

<a href="http://www.zxgear.com/Guitars-21/Guitar-Stands-Footstools-52/Konig-and-Meyer-Acoustic-Guitar-Performer-Stand-1644/">Here</a> is one. They seem to be quite expensive. I googled "performer guitar stand."

Yeah, seriously....or money for extra arms. :D

There's also one called the Gracie PS-A, but it's even more expensive, and the only place I saw it was at Ed R*man's

it also brings the adaptors for the wider body acoustics.

there's a guy in my town who was playing at a church and had his olson on one of those. the band got up to do a song and the drummer knocked over the stand and the olson it was cradling. the guitar got banged up, but survived.

i think the moral of the story is to keep your 15k guitars away from drummers.

justin, mtucker & gary...thanks for the compliments. this has been my go to guitar since 1998 (05-09-98n). i have played in every tour and show since then. it has more frequent flyer miles than you can imagine. it started life with a white pearl pg, however, around 2000 i had it swapped out for the tortoise. the color is cherry burst and it has a very, very subtle quilt, almost like a cross between quilt & flame.

very classy Suriel, the scraped binding is the icing ... when did tom started shooting or is that Pat's finish? either way .. it's a beauty.
