My 1st Andy was '94 drop top and I have never seen any andy's with swicheroo without using circuit board.

I think early Andy's (about mid to late 80's) didn't have circuit boards for swicheroo system and want to know when you started to use circuit board.

And have TAGWs used any active electonic system except LR Baggs piezo for TAG's?

And when I saw the '88 catalogue for TAG's, Pro Am Classic had a picguard with only 8 mounting holes and DT Classic's and Classic's in 1993 (from the '93 catalogue) and nowadays have 10 mounting holes. When did you change that configuration? And have you ever produced picguards with 11 mounting holes?

Thanks,

Jinwon Seo

1992 was the first year of the pcb. we did hard wored versions of the same thing without the slide switches before that.
we have not used any active electronics. in the early days we installed a coule of demeter mid boosts for artists but they all got changed out later.

Thanks for info, Tom.

Do you think it's a real TA pickguard assembly made at early 90's?

I think front and middle pups have been changed because SD1 was not present in that days. And the wiring status of the above assembly is not good. So I can't believe it is a real pickguard assembly not modified by other guy.

And the picguard has 11 mounting holes and the overall appearance is not so good as TA picguards of these days. The picguard looks like only 2 ply (not a 3 ply picguard).

Thanks,

that doesn't look like we did it. we never had 11 holes, used aluminum shielding, and used only red c&k switches back then.
