CLASSIC S & T PICKUP ROUT

Just curious but on a Classic S or T under the pickguard is the body rout for the pickup choice or is it a channel so changes in pickup configuration at a later date are easily done with just a change of guard?

it is not one big rectangle, but it will allow any of our pickups in the neck position, and either an S or M in the middle.
