I have really enjoyed my new Sirrius service. I love the NFL network and the other sports stuff.

The music channels are cool too. I like Hair Nation, Buzz Saw, Jam On among others. My only pet peeve is the amount of Def Leppard they play on Hair Nation. Don't get me wrong I like a some of their stuff, but two to three times an hour is a bit much. I'd like to hear some more obscure Hair stuff, Sea Hags, Spread Eagle, Love Hate, etc etc.

Overall I am very satisfied with my satellite service. Its a must have if you have a long commute or do a lot of driving.

I'm a satellite radio fan too, though I have XM.

Sounds like we listen to the same rock.

My biggest complaint is on the "deep tracks" station. To XM, "deep tracks" means album cuts by about five bands...

Allmans
Santana
Traffic

That sort of thing.

I wish they'd do something like a deep cut of a more "modern" band.

Hell, Rush comes to mind instantly (yes, I know they arent modern). There are SO MANY MORE cool songs they could play other than Tom Sawyer and Red Barchetta.

All in all, I'm a satisfied customer and cant imagine going back to Houston radio.

XM has the same issue, only it's with Tesla and the channel is called 'The Boneyard'.

But, if not for some of the alt/cafe stations XM, I wouldn't have had any idea who Steve Kimock is, and that guy's got tone for days.

I agree. Too much Def Leppard on Hair Nation. It also chaps me when they play vintage Black Sabbath on Hair Nation. The other day, I heard either "NIB" or "Sweet Leaf" on Hair Nation, and all I could think of is "WTF?"
