Movie recommendation: Grizzly Man

This documentary is riveting. I was indifferent about watching it but I'm glad I did. Yes, it s a tragic story, but some of the footage is extremely moving.

Now for the guitar tie-in. I did not realize Richard Thompson recorded the soundtrack. There is an additional one hour documentary detailing the record sessions and you get to see and hear some amazing guitar work by Thompson. Very worth watching.

Thanks for this post! I watched that movie with my wife, and I thought some of the scenes in it were breathtaking. I have been wondering who did that GREAT soundtrack. Now I know!

Did your DVD version have the recording session extra? All of the music was improvised which makes it more remarkable. Thompson is incapable of playing a bad note.
