Anyone try both of them side by side? Literature says Silver has flatter EQ....what does that mean in guitar speak? Does it really make a difference.

Anyone got an eta on the Tom Anderson/Barber LTD/DD?

Thanks!

Found this on the BarberShop forum. There are a couple of clips from David demoing the two pedals side by side.

Just added a DD to my board, which already had the Tone Press. If David Barber keeps making great pedals, I can forsee a hostile takeover of my board. Especially with how low those prices are!

I wondered if the DD would replace my Zendrive, but I don't think it will. They sound different enough. Right now, I'm using the Zen at about half gain for rhythm sounds and the DD with the gain at 2:30 for solos.

What does the LTD do that the DD won't do at a low gain setting?

i think it's just easier to dial in the low gain stuff. it can also boost in the low gain settings. i know that sometimes we want gain pedals to have a voice, but what i love about dave's stuff is that it really does leave the original tone intact. i also love the way the guitar volume control still works nicely.
