My Atom arrived a short while ago. I opened the case and think it's beautiful, but something surprised me, so I need to get some advice. Should the Atom's tone knob do this, and if so, how do I put it back?

I'm wondering if the pot is broken. The shaft isn't bent. And the guitar sounds awesome, so that's not an issue. Just wondering if I should open the back up and see what's going on with the pot? I've never opened the rear cavity on any of my Andersons. They've always worked...all the time.

did it arrive with a round foam pad on top of the knob? we had a few break from getting slammed on their faces, so we make pads for shipping. we've been using them for several months, so yours should have had it. the pot is broken and it will have to be replaced. where did you buy it?

No foam pad on top of the knob. Got it from Shane at Make'n Music.

Bummer. At least I think it broke with the tone cranked up all the way. I don't use the tone much, and the guitar sure sounds nice.

Thanks,

Nick
