VA1 vs VA12 ?????

Is there a discernable difference in output between these two PUPs? I've got my eye on two Classics------one set up with the toggle switch and VA12's, the other with no switch with regular VA1's.
Decisions, decisions.............................. Any advice would be much appreciated.

yes,(In a VA12) VA2 is a little more powerful than Va1. But I like the sound of Va1 more than Va2.
IMO VA1 sound it's more "vintage" or "classic".

Whatever you want, will be a good choice

VA1 has one sound, VA12 has two sounds where one of them is identical to VA1, and the other is hotter (like a VA2).
