From a thread on the Crowder forum(http://www.bwacksforum.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=6;t=000940):

haha i went today...amazing! i saw toms newly finished version of the crowdster acoustic, with an atom style humbucker if you want to use it as an electric too...sorta like the T5, but not so much. its amazing..o it also has a "D-Tune" on it..the way he put it on there is genious!

Anyone got pics?

Cool! Any word as to whether existing Crowdsters can be modified to
add the PU without being cost prohibitive?

Did you get a chance to play the new Crowdster?

No, but had the opportunity to see Jim West play some beautiful
Hawaiian Slack key on it while Roy shot photos ( see pic)- it sounded great!

Dont think he was utilizing the added H/B pickup but just the acoustic pickup...

Hope to try a few of the Andys tomorrow when not so crowded.
Toms camp was pretty swamped every time I passed by except for
the when I was shooting pics.

no retro on the crowdster, the knobs are all shifted to make room for the extra one.

Man, I know what that's like. We've been busy as can be since Thanksgiving, in fact, I've worked every single day since Christmas. Business ownership usually means the business owns you! :D Hope Jesse comes through ok, I've heard those things are horrible!!!

WOW - this looks verrrrrry interesting! Looks sort of like an idea that I had a while ago... a Crowdster with a NECK position humbucker (or M) to use for jazz. Any plans or thoughts about that?

when we first showed the crowdster several jazz guys asked about a neck humbucker. we would be able to do that now since the electronics are all worked out.
