TA Binding Material

I am thinking of getting a TA with binding... does TA install binding(either wood or plastic) or simply mask and scape the top (like PRS does)? Thanks in advance...

the "binding" is the top of the guitar, masked before painting. we do not glue on plastic or other materials.
