Going from the description on the entry page for the forum, it sounds like this neck goes from .850 at the first fret to .975 at the twelth fret. Is this correct??? Seems huge!

The neck has always intrigued me as an option on my next TA.

I have both nut widths on the '62 roundback. There is a nice difference that makes switching between the two necks a lot of fun.

I've got this neck on a couple of my Andersons. It sounds bigger than it seems to me. My hands are kind of small, and I have no issues with it.

Nick, I see you are in Ithaca. Ever frequent the State Street Diner?

I spent two years there.

i think for a lot of people, a bigger neck is not harder to play. my hands are not particularly big, but they are more comfortable when they don't have to be closed. playing a wafer thin neck cramps me up real fast.

Two years at the State Street Diner? Or in Ithaca? Yes, we eat their occasionally: my kids like it a lot, and it's across the street from the Lazer Tag place they coerce me into taking them to.

When were you in Ithaca? I've been here since 1998.

I have 3 of them, and their necks are both comparable and different, insofar as the Wolfgangs' necks aren't finished. Come to think of it? The Wolfgang probably feels fatter as a result.
