BTW, I did throw in the Beatles Anthology DVD just to see George playing "All you need is love". Wonderful stuff. Great message. The Beatles really seemed to be in touch, and reflective, of the social upheaval/change of the era.

I think one of the most endearing qualities of the Beatles is their ability to effectively communicate w/ the listener/audience. This ability to connect to people (while attracting new listeners and remaining relevant in 2004) appears to one of the reasons for their sustained popularity. :cool:

I can't think of many other artists that have transcended time like John, Paul, George and Ringo.
