Hello! I like the wood figuration of your mapletop! is it a name for this, or is it just weak quilted!? I think it looks like plastic when the figuration is to deep and have very much gloss! Dont like thet.

Does anyone know if there is a sound difference from flame maple to quilted mapele?

that is flat or slab cut quilt. the tubular stuff is quarter or vertical cut . they both bring out a different character to the grain. flame is usually a little harder but not always.
