I got into a PRS not long ago and it has a 5 way rotary swich on it.

I would like to replace it with a Gibson-styled 3 way switch, but am not sure who makes the best switches or where to get them.

I'd like to get the best the first time so that way I can just forget about it.

Any thoughts on where to find a good one?

Thanks!

space will influence your choices. the old stand by switchcraft switches are hard to beat. they make a right angle one and a straight one. the straight one is probably too long and would stick out the back. you'll have to see if the right angle one will have enough clearance around it. there are also some imports that are smaller. they work very nice, but are not quite as elegant looking. you can probably see them all at www.allparts.com
you may have to increase the diameter of the mounting hole as well.

You may want to call PRS. Their switch will fit without any modification to the bodywood... it's easily interchangable. My memory is bad but it very well might be a Switchcraft.

Thanks for the heads up, guys.

I'll contact them and see what they will do for me. I just hope their customer service is HALF of the Anderson's.
