Ever install a sustainer in Tag, played on in a Phil Collen model and thought it was pretty cool.

I believe that Neal Schon put some sort of sustainer in his Andersons.

Wow, that is freaky. I came here today to post this exact same question.

I actually own a Phil Collen model, and the sustainer is definitely pretty cool -- although realistically you can only use it in "select" situations without it being too over the top. But it definitely gets attention. Last week at rehearsal, I kicked in the harmonic switch and did a fun little divebomb, and when the song was finished, my drummer turned to me and said, "what was THAT!? That was COOL!"

Anyway, after that, I was wondering if it would be possible to put something like that in an Anderson. I have always wondered what it would be like on a Cobra with the shorter scale length.

i have never really looked into it. i'm not sure it is available to other manufacturers. the interest has been so small that i didn't want to get into what mods would have to be done to make it work.
