Hi,

Just wondering why each serial number ended with one of these three letters? Are there any differences in terms of quality and final setup? Is one better than the other two? Thanks.

I'm guessing they stand for: AM, Noon and PM and designate the approximate time of day the guitars were finished.

joe wins the prize, at least in spirit. if you do the math, production works tuesday thru friday. that makes about 17 work days a month. if we build about 17 a week, we need another plan. we started with a's and p's. as we grew, we added the n. every once in a while there is a m for midnight. to come totally clean, we use the days and letters as we go through the month, using the weekend dates as well. so the guitar is built within a day or so of the born on date. we also accomodate people that ask for their initials or something else weird.
