Durham Sexdrive

Has anyone tried the Durham Sexdrive and can share some thoughts about it? How does it sound compared to for example Fulltone OCD?

I gave one a pretty good test drive a year or so ago. I was using it with a FulldriveII into a Rambler (and a Cobra, actually).

With both channels of the FDII on, adding the SexDrive was the perect 3rd gain stage. It was a really really natural sounding boost with some drive. So if you already have overdrives you like, this is a good option to push them with. I liked it better than the FatBoost for that purpose.

I was using it as a boost, and by itself or with the FDII it was great - but I never tried to get it to play in the same space as you'd use an OCD for.

Thank you for your response. I use a Carl Martin Hydra Boost as boost, but I wonder how the Sexdrive sounds as a overdrive pedal..?

My guess would be that it has nowhere near the gain of the OCD.
