Refinishing a TA

Maybe someone can help me out here... I have decided to refinish one of my Andersons, but nothing in the way of commercial strippers seems to remove the old finish. Can anyone help me out? The guitar is a 2001. All wood strippers do absolutely nothing! Perhaps it's a polyester??? How do I remove the finish with a solvent???

sandpaper is the only way. strippers don't touch any of the modern catylized finishes.
