Tom, need your opinion on a finish please...

Do you think Sheer Gold would work well over Swamp Ash as far as showing off the grain? Would the color of Swamp Ash work with Sheer Gold like it does with Maple?

it would be subtle, but it is on maple too. we would probably use a darker than normal paste filler on the ash wich would make the grain lines stand out more.
