Two Classics on the way!

Just got word from my dealer that my two custom Classics are on the way! I got Sparkle Gold (08-17-05N) and Firemist Gold (08-19-05N). Only two days apart! Too fun! They're basically identical except for the pickups and finish. I couldn't decide between Ms and VAs so I just got both. :D

There's going to be a whole lot of gold happening when I get them next to my Firemist Gold top Cobra S. :cool:

What makes them custom?

I had them ordered to my specs... slightly undersized '62 Roundback (ala Pete Anderson) with medium frets on both, custom switching on the one with VA pickups. The one with the M series has the brand new M1- in the neck and middle. Other than that they are pretty standard Alder body Classics but I love being able to pick everything out just the way I want. :cool:

Undersized '62 roundback sounds nice! Didn't know you could ask for that. But you're right; of course they're all custom guitars. :)
Being able to spec out your personal guitar is a great privelege compared to the "take it or leave it" approach of some other companies.
