Question on neck finishes

Hi everybody!

I am on my third Tom Anderson guitar, and planning on a new one soon (maybe)... but I have a question about the neck finish on Cobras.

Sometimes, certain finishes irritate the palm of my left hand when I play. I have no problem with the maple necks on my TAGs, and I have not problem w/ polyester -typ finishes such as PRS necks.

What kind of finish is used on the Cobra mahogany necks? Is there an option to have the neck finished in a gloss, like the PRSs?

all our necks have the same acrylic uethane satin finish. gloss is an option, we do about 2 a year.
