Just got my Bora-bora DTC back from Tom and the gang after a neck replacement and swapping out the SA1/SA1R for a couple of M1's. Incredible. The M's really filled out the tone of the guitar nicely. Tone being a matter of personal taste, of course, but I am finally happy with the tone of this instrument. Bruce, the neck setup was absolutely perfect, I only wish I could get my other guitars to play nearly this well, but then again that's part of the allure of an Anderson isn't it? Not to gush excessively, but TAG is a first-class operation. Y'all know this already, but being a relative newbie to the brand it still knocks me over. Everyone I spoke with at Newbury Park was courteous and attentive and completely immersed in what they do, and treated me as if I were special, not like Joe **** the rag man from Texas. Again, thanks y'all. You have a customer for life.

Glad you like it.. And yes, I guess you can say we are immersed in what we do.. You really can't go wrong with the M's in any application.. as some of you are starting to realize.

I am a diehard VA guy but since I got my m Classic, the VA's have had a rest. The m's work in every application.

Will try to set up a photobucket deal in the next day or two. With the M's, this guitar has just relegated 4 of my other brand guitars to the dreaded bay. Fenders all. Makes things a lot simpler though. Will have to sell my other TA as well to fund a T classic which I will be ordering through Charley's soon.

Bruce or Tom,

What does the switch to M's in a single coil slot entail? Obvivously routing, but is there anything to worry about in the switch? The routing alone sounds scarry... I've got a DT/alder with SA's and an H2 what could I expect? The cost? What would you do with the 3 way toggles?

PS Sounds like you might have future as a EMT?

EMT? No way man... those guys are serious. Ask DLR! If your DT is not a classic then yes routing would be scary. I'd say not to molest this guitar and go with a different guitar all together that have the M's.
